(Matthieu 5.3, BJ)<\/em><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div>On remarque que Luc parle de \u00ab\u00a0pauvres\u00a0\u00bb (\u03c0\u03c4\u03c9\u03c7\u03bf\u1f76) tandis que Matthieu pr\u00e9cise \u00ab\u00a0pauvres quant \u00e0 l&rsquo;esprit\u00a0\u00bb (\u03c0\u03c4\u03c9\u03c7\u03bf\u1f76 \u03c4\u1ff7 \u03c0\u03bd\u03b5\u03cd\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b9). Il n&rsquo;est pas lieu ici de commenter cette diff\u00e9rence dans le d\u00e9tail (voir par exemple Kuen, <em>Encyclop\u00e9die des difficult\u00e9s bibliques &#8211; \u00c9vangiles et Actes<\/em>, Emma\u00fcs, 2002 : 57-59). Relevons simplement que Luc insiste particuli\u00e8rement sur les m\u00e9faits de la richesse (<strong>Luk 1.53, 6.24, 12.16-21, 16.19-31, 18.18-26, 21.3, Act 4.32-37<\/strong>) sans toutefois la noircir\u00a0syst\u00e9matiquement\u00a0(<strong>Luk 8.3, 19.8-9, 23.50-56<\/strong>). Compte tenu du contexte (sp\u00e9cialement <strong>Luk 6.21, 24-25, 29-30<\/strong>), il est difficile de ne pas y voir une allusion \u00e0 la pauvret\u00e9 <em>mat\u00e9rielle<\/em> (quel que soit le lien de cette pauvret\u00e9 avec l&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9vation de l&rsquo;esprit qu&rsquo;elle permet).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Le <a href=\"http:\/\/gospel-thomas.net\/interlin\/log054.htm\">logion 54<\/a> de l&rsquo;\u00e9vangile de Thomas est conforme \u00e0 l&rsquo;expression courte de Luc, qui est cit\u00e9e par\u00a0des auteurs comme Polycarpe (<strong>\u00c9p\u00eetre aux Philippiens 2.3<\/strong>) ou Tertullien (ex. <strong>Contre Marcion 2.14<\/strong>). J\u00e9r\u00f4me d&rsquo;ailleurs commente <strong>Luk\u00a06.20<\/strong> en l&rsquo;entendant de la pauvret\u00e9 mat\u00e9rielle (<a href=\"http:\/\/remacle.org\/bloodwolf\/eglise\/jerome\/heliodore1.htm\"><em>Lettre 14, A H\u00e9liodore<\/em>, 10<\/a>).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"Style6\" align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Qu&rsquo;a donc dit J\u00e9sus ? Sans doute, la forme courte, que Matthieu a explicit\u00e9e. Ainsi s&rsquo;exprime J. Hunter (cit\u00e9 dans Kuen, <em>op. cit<\/em>., p.57) \u00a0:<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div>Nous croyons que Luc nous donne les b\u00e9atitudes telles que J\u00e9sus les pronon\u00e7a, tandis que Matthieu nous les rapporte en les expliquant.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">C&rsquo;est assez vraisemblable. Plusieurs textes de l&rsquo;Ancien Testament pouvaient\u00a0venir \u00e0 l&rsquo;esprit pour comprendre le terme \u00ab\u00a0pauvre\u00a0\u00bb : <strong>Psa 16.6, 25.16, 86.1, 109.22, Pro 3.34<\/strong> (LXX, cit\u00e9 en\u00a0<strong>Jam 4.6<\/strong> et <strong>1Pe 5.5<\/strong>),<strong> Isa 61.1-2, 66.2, 57.15<\/strong>. On a d&rsquo;ailleurs remarqu\u00e9 que dans les <em>Psaumes<\/em>, \u03c0\u03c4\u03c9\u03c7\u1f78\u03c2 \u03ba\u03b1\u1f76 \u03c0\u03ad\u03bd\u03b7\u03c2 est une expression consacr\u00e9e d\u00e9notant l&rsquo;attitude d<em>&lsquo;une personne en pri\u00e8re<\/em>. On retrouve d&rsquo;ailleurs \u00e0 Qumr\u00e2n cette propension \u00e0 \u00e9lever les \u00ab\u00a0humbles d&rsquo;esprit\u00a0\u00bb (<em>R\u00e8glement de la Guerre<\/em>\/<strong>1QM 14.7<\/strong> : (&#8230;) et par les humbles d&rsquo;esprit [ \u00a0 ] [sera] puni le c\u0153ur endurci\u00a0\u00bb, Pl\u00e9iade, p.217 ; <strong>1QpHab 12.3, 1Q33 11.9, 13.14, 1QHa 3.3<\/strong>, etc. ; voir aussi <strong>1QSb 5.21, 4Q525 fr. 2+3 2.1-9<\/strong>\u00a0et <strong>Sir 25.7-12<\/strong>).<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ce que je souhaite surtout souligner ici touche \u00e0 la critique textuelle : en effet, en <strong>Luc 6.20<\/strong>, comme on peut s&rsquo;y attendre, on trouve\u00a0des variantes. Comfort, <em>NTTTC<\/em> : 184). Nous avons donc l\u00e0 un cas\u00a0particuli\u00e8rement repr\u00e9sentatif\u00a0d&rsquo;<strong>harmonisation parall\u00e8le<\/strong>\u00a0(sur cette tendance scribale, cf. Amphoux 2014 : 221-222).
