Egyptologists quote frequently the book of the famous archaeologist Israel Finkelstein entitled The Bible Unearthed to prove the so-called falsehood of the Bible. Not only do these rebuttals are deliberately false but the biblical statements can be confirmed by archeology, see\u00a0Dating the Birth of Israel ca. 1500 or 1200 BCE<\/a>and\u00a0Dating the Five Books of Moses<\/a>. In fact, most Egyptologists are ideologues who write a theological history. They never use chronology (the backbone of history) for establishing the veracity of testimonies, but they rather refer to their imagination or to Freudian psychoanalysis. The reconstruction of\u00a0Akhenaten\u2019s reign is a typical case of this Egyptological delirium<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La presse de caniveau, mais aussi des \u00e9gyptologues de renom, ont coutume de critiquer la Bible en all\u00e9guant qu’elle relate des faits anachroniques, transpos\u00e9s, voire invent\u00e9s de toutes pi\u00e8ces. Le probl\u00e8me c’est qu’on ignore bien des t\u00e9moignages arch\u00e9ologiques et surtout qu’on ne cherche pas \u00e0 \u00e9tablir une chronologie s\u00e9rieuse, qui permette d’\u00e9carter les sp\u00e9culations et th\u00e9ories fumeuses des uns et des autres – qui s’int\u00e9ressent moins \u00e0 l’Histoire qu’\u00e0 la gloriole. Dans ce contexte, il n’est gu\u00e8re \u00e9tonnant que l’embl\u00e8me de l’\u00e9gyptologie soit une farce…<\/p>\n
